I was raised in the Pittsburgh suburbs where my father owned a real estate business. Through that exposure, I learned that the best way to build a business is with satisfied clients. Today most of my business is from client referrals as well as other business associates I have met over the years. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Communications, I worked as the Director of a large medical practice of 145 physicians for about 11 years. I have been selling real estate for the past 12 years. From my first year in the real estate business I have been a multi-million dollar producer and perennially on a top producer list.
I am convinced of the value of home staging, quality, and professional photography when listing a home for sale. Often I am asked to take on properties that have other agents have been unable to sell. I find my designation as a Certified Negotiation Expert helps me not only sell properties more quickly, but also at the highest price. I sell in the East End, downtown, Mt. Washington, as far east as Murraysville, and south to Upper St. Clair. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you either about selling your current home or helping you to find a new one. A home is an important investment - it is where our lives happen.
I met Charlotte when I was interested in a house in Fox Chapel she was representing. At the time, I was relocating my family from Northern California to Pittsburgh. I really liked her professionalism, knowledge of the Pittsburgh real estate market and how she handled herself in general--so I asked her if she would help me find a house in Pittsburgh. She did more then help me find a house...she helped with finding the right community (i.e., schools), neighborhood, the type of house that would be a good fit for me and the rest of my family (and that wasn't an easy task!) and made the offer and closing processes relatively painless. If/when I need another real estate agent in Pittsburgh, there's only one person I'll call--Charlotte George.

Charlotte is the type of real estate agent you want, but rarely hire. She began by touring our house, telling us it would appeal most to a young family, and recommending inexpensive changes to make it more attractive. She recommended removing large pieces of furniture that made rooms look small, repainting in a neutral color, and removing bushes that blocked views of the backyard from the kitchen (so prospective buyers could envision their children enjoying playing in it). When we were through doing what she said, she walked into each room and rearranged our existing art work to create the right feeling. The house looked more open and attractive than it ever had.
We started working with Charlotte in late May. The house was put on the market in mid-June, well after the major real estate selling season. This did not deter Charlotte. She promoted the house optimistically, hiring a professional photographer to take pictures for the internet, serving lunch at the realtors’ open house to encourage them to take the time to see our house, and holding several open houses. We accepted a bid in July from a young family who had come to an open house and closed in September. Throughout the entire process Charlotte answered our questions and provided useful guidance and information. There is no question in our minds that she was an important part of selling our house in a timely basis. We recommend her highly.
